About Dorset Scrapstore

The Dorset Scrapstore is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. We have a Board of Trustees drawn from industry, education and the voluntary sector, two part-time employees and a wonderful set of volunteers.

What is a Scrapstore?

A scrapstore collects materials donated by industry, commerce and individuals and makes them available to the community as a valuable, low cost resource. Our materials are suitable for use in art, craft, education and play.

Dorset Scrapstore run affordable workshops for children and adults which cover a range of activities and focus on skill-learning in a fun and friendly group environment.

We also have a small shop selling arts & crafts products at very competitive prices.

Join Dorset Scrapstore's manager Sharon at her arts and crafts blog Scarecrow Diaries and learn how to make a variety of things from textile flowers to homemade wine!

Dorset Scrapstore Poole is looking for a new home! We need a shell space of approx 200 square metres, ideally with parking on-site or close by. If anybody knows of any empty buildings or a suitably sized room in the Bournemouth or Poole area please call us on 01305 849444 or email us.
