If you have anything else that you think we may be able to use or you are unsure, please either telephone the store or send a photo to enquiries@dorsetscrapstore.org.uk
Key things to note
We are interested in any materials or items that can be used in an art, craft or play context.
The more colourful the better, particularly with regard to paper, fabric and plastics
We do not accept any food containers (even if they have been washed out)
Materials must be clean and safe
If the scrap is appropriate we can take large quantities and act as distributor to the UK network of 105 scrapstores
If you have fabric to donate - please sort them into different types – we cannot accept large bags of mixed scrap types.

We realise you may be concerned about what happens to the waste and whether you could be considered liable if anyone hurts themselves or uses it for activities your business will not want to be associated with.
Well, let us reassure you that all members are asked to sign a waiver stating that they agree to strict rules about the use of waste.
We are fully legally compliant and have a Waste Carrier’s Licence.
All Scrapstores are considered ‘low-risk waste position’ by The Environment Agency meaning that we are NOT required to have a waste management licence.
